The positioning of the body can either be done on the belly (1st trimester) or side-lying (2nd & 3rd trimesters) with the use of prenatal pillowing. The pressure of the treatment is reduced in the lower back region during your 1st trimester since risk of miscarriage is high at that time. Overall, prenatal massage is a safe and effective treatment.

Reiki

I, Rachelle Boyer, graduated with distinction from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in 2014. I obtained my Myofascial cupping certificate in 2016, and I am registered with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.

I always knew I wanted to help people but it took me awhile to figure out in what manner. I initially began with an application to become a police officer, but something didn’t feel right about it and I realized it was not my calling. Eventually, after my own experiences, I found massage therapy.

I love every aspect of what I do. Every treatment is catered to what my clients needs are. I love that it doesn’t feel like work, there is something liberating about someone telling you “you healed me” or “you’re a fantastic therapist”. I’ll be continuing to do this career for as long as it allows me.

When I am not at the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my extensive family, exercise, reading, cooking and many genres of music.
